If you’ve spent time exploring this site, thank you. And if you have any questions, inquiries of all kinds are welcome. I’ve created this digital space as a place to share with honest curiosity and humble vision. I think it’s my unexpected escape from “fast” media, and hopefully encourages a slower pace of creativity and reflection for all those that stumble upon it. I don’t always believe I have much to contribute in a world full of brilliant artists, thinkers, and dreamers, but perhaps something I’ve shared here stirred you. That’s more than I could ask for. My hope is that every photograph, poem, or long-format piece I produce is consistently true to who I am—from start to final formatting. I’ve only just realized how vulnerable a task it is to make something and see it through. Because so, I want to share my craft with more time for both creator (myself) and viewer to consider what’s being revealed.

That’s the goal not only in my developing creativity, but in my day-to-day life. I’m not content with simply documenting what’s around me—whether that be the natural world, the people I love, or the places I go. I also want to fully show up in the world. I want to play an active role even as I make art, so that the forms I apply myself to not only inspire beauty, but provoke conversation. Ultimately, I hope the work of my hands engages realities like community, environment, theology, ethics, culture, and more. And I hope that by sharing such work, I invite others into the grand conversation always occurring around us. Sometimes it’s just a matter of paying attention (as Mary Oliver might add). That’s a fairly brief peek behind the lens and into my heart. Once more, I’m so glad you’re here.
